Consider the hacker group Anonymous who broke into large corporations and government databases to crash websites and steal data. Having a core group of internet protectors is imperative for our personal information, economy, technology, and government secrets.   2. We have to keep up with technology. I am glad our Armed Forces are doing that too. War has become a matter of cyber war. If an enemy could attack our infrastructure with cyber viruses, they could hurt us terribly. These men and women work very hard on protecting us from attacks such as this. It is a very important part of our military. For anyone that is part of the cyber unit, thank you for protecting us.
