2014 Year in Review for Part-Time-Commander.com

Happy New Year!  And thank you for your service.

It’s hard to believe that today is January 1, 2015.  Where did the time go?  What I want to do in today’s post is take a few minutes to tell you how things went for us in 2014.  Think of this as our year in review.  Since YOU are such an important part of our website, I thought you would want to know how things went.  I’ll also take a moment and talk about some of my plans for 2015 and beyond.

I should start out by telling you that 2014 was a good year.  We had nice, steady growth for the year.  I’m definitely excited about the “direction” of where my website and online presence is headed in the years to come.

During the past five years of working on this website, we have really evolved.  We started out as a one page website to sell an eBook.  Then we became a static website with about 75 pages.  And then we evolved into a blog.  Who knows what the future has in store!

  1. Do you advertise this website in any ways other than word of mouth? The numbers you get in the time you have operated are great. I am considering purchasing another domain and hosting. I really didn’t do well with the last one, and I know there are some things I should do differently. I really agree with the no right clicking. I had an issue with people in other countries that don’t have copyright laws copying my materials. Is there any other suggestions you can provide?

  2. It is great to see that this website/blog did so well this past year. I believe it will get even bigger and better too. The information and education you provide via this site is top-notch. It can be helpful to officers, and those who are considering enlisting.

I must say that I also enjoy the lighthearted posts too. these would include movie and book reviews and ones like this one. Mixing some of them in gets minds off the stresses of everyday life.

Keep up the great work Chuck. Thank you for your service and helping others in their service to our great country.

    Happy New Year.
