MAJ Holmes was commissioned as an Active Duty Second Lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps in May 2000.  He is currently a Logistics Officer.  Prior to his commissioning, he was an Active Duty Enlisted Soldier in The Old Guard.

MAJ Holmes held a variety of positions on Active Duty and in the National Guard to include: Platoon Leader, Battalion S4, Company XO, Shop Officer, G4 Plans Officer, SSA Accountable Officer, Fuel Officer, Company Commander, Regimental S4 and Regimental S3 Officer.  Chuck served in the Maryland Army National Guard from 2005 to 2011.  He is currently serving in the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR).  

MAJ Holmes deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq) and Operation Enduring Freedom (Kosovo). 

As a civilian, he is a treasure hunter, infopreneur, website owner and entrepreneur.  He is the successful author of six books, which include:

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics from SUNY Potsdam and a Master’s in Management from Troy University.  He is also a Certified Small Business Coach.

Chuck's hobbies include writing, reading, treasure hunting, network marketing, running, eBay, food, family and funny movies.  Chuck lives in Frederick, Maryland with his wife Rachel and son Devant.
